At the age of 10, I received my double digits. At the age of 16, I received my drivers license. Both of those were big deals for me. Mostly because they are your first two milestones in life. Some of us get lucky and kiss a member of the opposite sex between those ages. While that is a milestone in a way, the age dos not dictate when that kiss will happen. Your drivers license is something that you can’t get until you’re 16. Sure you can get your permit at 15 and a half. Regardless, that’s a mini milestone. A major milestone is when you do something that requires you to pass a certain point in life. Today, I’ve reached another one of those milestones. I turn 30. So I’m just going to enjoy today and drink a beer. If you want to celebrate with me, just drink a beer the next time you end up drinking a beer.
